The covered walkways bring natures touch to the city jungle. The locally supplied stringybark timber slats embellish the exposed steel structure, contrasting with the laser cut aluminium shrouds and panels taking the shape of common Larrakeyah animals and plants. These design elements tell of the connection the Larrakeyah people have with the land the shade structures stand on.
